I use a video platform through Simple Practice which is HIPPA compliant and secure. Once you are set up in my system, you will receive a link to your appointment 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. All you need is a quiet, comfortable and private place (such as an office, or even a parked car) with good internet access and the ability to login from your phone, tablet, or computer.
Sometimes client’s choose to do therapy online rather than in person. Some reasons for this might be if you live too far to commute, you would prefer to have a session on a lunch break or from the convenience of your home.

I do not take insurance however, I suggest contacting your healthcare provider to confirm whether or not you have “out of network” mental health coverage. Most insurance companies provide reimbursement up to a certain percentage depending on your plan which can significantly reduce the cost of therapy.
If you do have coverage I can send a receipt of services (also known as a superbill) which you can submit to your provider for possible reimbursement for a portion of what you pay out of pocket.
Clients are responsible for the fees at the time of their appointment, so I encourage you to verify your out of network benefits with your provider before your first session.

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations under the 24 hour mark are charged the FULL fee for the appointment booked. I value our time together and I hope you will too. You will receive reminders 24 hours before your appointment through Simple Practice either through email, text, or both.

Your first appointment is a time where I get to really know and understand you as a person. I will ask questions with warmth and genuine curiosity to help guide me on what will be most helpful to you and your healing. We will explore, collaborate, and essentially come up with some goals that you want to work towards in our work together.

Therapy is a unique experience for each individual therefore, to put a timeframe on your personal journey seems unfair.
I ultimately want you to succeed in whatever therapeutic goals you might have. My intention is to work with you towards healing so that you can move forward in life feeling like the best version of yourself.
